and perhaps lose, caused to the Colonial Government by the late

arrival of the steelwork. The whole matter emphasizes the

necessity of despatching indents in good time, and of keeping

us informed as to any circumstances affecting their execution.

When this is done, we on our part do everything possible to

push the work through and inform the Colony of the position.
